From the local level to the top on a regular basis. They are there to serve you. Pay attention to what's going on. Most of the legislation that infringes on our rights is passed quietly. Encourage others to get involved. Join a Group or organization that is dedicated to fighting these attacks on our freedoms. There are Five Steps to Liberty
ONE VOTE DOES COUNT Did you know that? One vote decided that Americans would speak English instead of German in 1776. One vote kept Aaron Burr from the Presidency in 1800. One vote made Texas part of the U.S. in 1845. One vote kept Andrew Johnson in office in 1868 One vote admitted California, Idaho, Oregon and Washington into the union in 1850, 1890, 1859 and 1889. One vote elected Rutherford B. Hayes to the Presidency in 1876, and the Indiana Congressman in the Electoral College who cast the vote, had himself been elected by one vote.
